At 31 years old, Devon’s role as Training Manager at U Fly New Zealand is underpinned by his robust experience and a deep understanding of aviation dynamics, particularly in the scenic and challenging terrains of Wanaka.

Background and Expertise:

• Certifications: NZ CPL(A) with a B Category Instructor rating.
• Education: Holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Transport & Logistics from Lincoln University and a Diploma in Aviation Science (Air Instruction) from NMIT.

Before joining U Fly New Zealand, Devon shaped his leadership and technical skills through various significant roles:

• Operations and Training Manager at U Fly Wanaka, overseeing the seamless integration of operations and training modules.
• Managing Director at Fix IT Digital Solutions Ltd, where he led the company through substantial growth and expansion.

Skills and Achievements:

• Devon brings a strong portfolio of skills including operational flying, project planning, and leadership.
• Notably, he managed solo charge of flying operations at Wanaka Flight Training/Classic Flights, demonstrating his capability in high-responsibility roles and his commitment to safety and efficiency.
